The XI was picked up by Westfield on Friday so they can setup the ride hight, geomentry and suspension ready for the IVA, etc.

We have (hopefully had) a problem with the clutch system no disengaging the clutch from the flywheel, and after taking the engine back out, splitting the bellhousing and checking it all over not fixing it Westfield said they'd have a look too. Other than that, it wasn't too bad, just took us ages because of other projects we had to do at the same time (probably about 400 man-hours over 18 months with 3 people working together for most of it).

Very happy with the support we've had from Westfield so far and with how easy they had made the kit. There were still lots of bits we had to 'fix' and some things we couldn't, but all things considered it was a well thought out kit with good phone and physical support when needed.

Hopefully it will be ready and we'll trust it for Classic Le Mans!

Cheers!

Not sure when the IVA date is: Westfield are doing that bit too because our local centre is known for being a real PITA. Hopefully their local centre will know the XI and Westfield will know how to sort anything the IVA tester finds. Quite a noce service really, they came and picked up the car (we are still without a trailer for it), will set it up and get it road legal for us smile
