Do I sell??

Hi Guys

Well I have owned my Kit car for the last 7 or so weeks.
i have been out in it about 4 times.
due to work......and more so the weather Im really not getting the use of it.
I have spent a fair amount of cash on it with some new wheels/tyres/aeroscreen/roll bar etc.
I have changed the "plug" that was causing a smoldering issue.

Question is.....Do I sell it??

7 weeks of ownership?!??! Atleast hold onto it for the summer... sell next spring!

There may be a day or two over the summer that you can use the car.... any trust me, those two days will be memorable!!

The first kit I built I sold after less than 7 weeks, and I've never regretted it.

What you need to ask yourself is whether kit car ownership is for you. If it isn't, then sell it, promptly.

Still undecided. like the idea of the kit cars. Weather is not good at the moment. The car does not cost me anything but i think if i sold it I could put that cash towards a 360 or Vantage

What are you on about the weathers been great the last week or 2 , now we have had a couple of iffy days thats all , it is only the start of June after all

there was 2 days last week that were nice, but the car was having some work done!! very frustrating!!

But ive been thinking of selling the MAC#1 for something morer noramal.....and with a roof.hahaha

Sounds like you already decided you want to sell it and just need some encouragment. Sell it. If you liked the car you would not even be considering it after just 7 weeks. I have only driven mine sparingly in the last 8 months, but the difference is that I cannot wait for my next drive.

Well.....its been dry today so I took the mac#1 out!!
FANTASTIC!!

Just hope the weather stays this way or improves. Smiling ear to ear!!

Yep, this Friday 2,500 miles in a car with no windscreen, doors or roof, motorbike engine screaming it's nuts off for hours on end, clunking gearchange, whining diff, crash helmet on, snowy peaks of the Stelvio Pass, then 90 degree heat of Nice and Monte Carlo, Col du Turini and Route Napoleon, it's gonna be only forcthe hardcore BEC owners. I CANNOT F****** WAIT!!!!! :-)

Well...what a day!!
Took a wee trip from Aberdeen upto Braemar and back. Awsome roads, amazing weather, and the car was fantastic!!.


Lots of bikers too taking advantage of the weather.....No kit cars spotted sadly!!
Hope the weather stays like this.....Anouther blast tomorrow perhaps!!! love it!!
