I am looking at the Tiger (link below) tomorrow, and would like any advice. Never heard of a mid/rear engined before...does anyone think that it would be money well spent? I am on a budget, and looking for something that won't need to much tinkering initially.

Any advice would be most welcome

Looks better in the pics than it does in real life - it's an awkward looking thing with how far forward the seats are from the rear arches. Amazing that it's only done 1500 miles in seven years too.

On a side note, what denotes 'mid engined'? Aren't all sevens mid-engined - the engines are normally way behind the front wheels, and in that particular example the engine is as near to the back of the car as it would be to the front on a more conventional seven.

Bear in mind its not a standard Tiger model, it is an Avon that has been adapted to rear engine so its worth paying particular interest to how that has been done.

Thanks for all the advice. Have opted for a Super Six Zetec, which have tested, and is fantastic.

You'll need a big cage and an abundant supply of raw meat.
