Thanks for all the comments on this. It's a really significant step not just for Complete Kit Car but also the industry as a whole. Part of our job is to raise the profile of the kit car scene, and as far as we know we're the first kit car magazine to get a well known celebrity on board.
His first column sets the scene well in terms of describing his current position with kit cars, and he is signed up as a regular columnist contributor so there's plenty more to come.

Disappointing and thin it is too.
Was hoping for more than just 3 paragraphs on why he has never owned a kit, I'm sure he must have driven plenty...

Adam, how about doing a track test with Tiff driving say 10 cars for 3 laps and giving pro driving impressions?? Or is his fee for that astronomical? I'd be prepared to pay a trackday fee for a chance for the Tiff'ernator to smoke my Phoenix R1 around!
Me too if he promised to crash it spectacularly.Ferg said:

. Anything which helps to bring the kitcar industry into the main stream can surely only be a good thing.
Have to say I don't know how rapt I'd be about Tiff driving any car of mine I remember what he did to the twin engined 7 clone (Tiger?) when he drove that! But I'm sure it wasn't his fault - it did after all have at least one too many gear levers! I do have a very nice Renault Laguna Dynamique Diesel Estate car for sale on Ebay at the mo - he can drive that if he fancies it, but not exactly a kitcar! ("The Stig" drove it last week, maybe they could compare notes!
)
Adam, I'd volunteer to take him for a spin in my twin engined Furore (I remember how much you enjoyed it
) but unfortunately It's been sold
Now, how about really setting the cat among the pigeons & getting him to do "pistonheads challenge" laps at a certain well known Dunsfold circuit in various kitcars (only ones which would clear speedbumps of course!)

Adam, just want to add my congratulations for getting tiff on board.
I really enjoyed the first column which as you say set the scene was interesting to see he nearly had a kitcar but then won something else.
looking forward to more of his column but as said would be interesting if you could get a few manufacturers to let him have their cars on a trackday.
On a side note ferg got your text but was in Turkey on holiday so didnt reply.
