I used to drive a Toyota corolla GT coupe. Great car, couldn't bare to part with it so now it is rusting in the garden. One of the reasons I held on to it is that I thought it'd make a good doner one day.

It has got a 1.6 16v 125 bhp engine, 5 speed rear wheel drive gear box, 5 link live axle with disk brakes and a LSD.

I expect I'll never get around to doing anything with it so I might give it to a friend. Can anyone tell me if it has any value?

cheers

Sounds like the same engine fitted in the Mk1 MR2.

I know some of the Corolla's (GTi's) have this engine.

I would have thought it'd be of interest to Se7en types, especially with the RWD box. The 4Age engine is a nice compact engine that revs like mad and is perfect for these type of cars. Can easily be converted to twin 45s too See RAW engineering about them as they are the speciallists.

No certainly no value at all...tell me where you live and I'll come and take the terrible thing off your hands
