Looks like an Auburn Speedster replica to me. Don't know who makes them, but there is a guy in the town where i live with an original. Its a beaut...

your right auburn boattail speedster, factory built in 1971,by elegant motors.
i got it from nashville, two years ago.
the middle one is a jaguar atlantis, only one of 15
built in 1986,beauford cars did a poor copy. e type built by triple c challenger.
england can not seem to build good kit cars any more.

My very good friend Mr Google found the manufacturer of the kit for me.

Ouch, so the basic kit is US $55K for a rolling chassis and then obviouly need engine, box, paint, interior etc. Or you could buy their ex demonstrator for $85k All of sudden I'm not that taken with it

Love the way the exhausts come out of the bonnet and are then hidden in the running boards. Wonder if that'd look cool on a cobra replica

yes these kit cars are not cheap.
i got mine for £40,000.
based on 5 liter mustang.
18 ft long. road tax free

Ooh whereabouts are you, can I come and have a look at it? Very taken with this car and sorely tempted. £40K for a finished complete unique car like that isn't too bad.

I have to say England does build some very very good kits particularly these days to the point that they often become full blown production cars. Just look at the motor industry we have left in the UK and you'll find that they came from the Kit Car industry not so long ago.

Well according to the website the project is for sale, all the jigs, tooling advice etc for £55K.

I don't have that kind of dosh available at the moment, I'm afraid. But if someone else did, and needed to get someone witha suitable workshop to do the actual work, then I'd be interested.
