Hustler wooden 6
Discussion
Sat in Glastonbury is what amounts to a flat pack of a hustler in wood, it’s a 6 wheeler (or would be... read on). I started it in the mid 80's then put it on hold. You see I had this calling..... To bring a Scamp back from the dead that was found in a scrap yard. Thing is I was having so much fun in the Scamp the Hustler never came off hold. now to the problem; the house in Glastonbury where the 'pack' has remained safe and literally undisturbed for nigh on25 years is being sold and will have new owners on the 14th of December (yes that’s only 7 days and here was me thinking i had over 7 weeks) so the hustler has to move, I don’t have the space for it here in Cornwall as there a darn great Hovercraft in the only storage I have. So what the hell do I do with it? Apart from sell the wood to my mate’s furniture business and bin the glass! That would be a disaster.
So what do I do? Is there anyone out there that will take on this project at short notice?

Try Getragdogleg, he may have room to store for a short term. Worth an e-mail anyway, worst case scenario he says no! Failing that, there are a few storage places around as a temp measure, at least then it can go on e-bay.
Why not slap it straight on Ebay in a 3 day auction with a requirement for immediate deposit & collection by your requisite date?
I don't want to be disheartening, but I would expect it to have very little value, I seem to remember the glass doesn't have the required marks for IVA? & I would expect it to be a nightmare to get thro' IVA as it was never designed with those sort of regs in mind, hence I think it would only have anny real value to someone who'd not done their homework, or with a car already on the road that needs some glass or a refurb.
If I'm right about the value (hope I'm wrong, quite prepared to stand corrected) then it really wouldn't be worth spending out to pay for storage.

.
Isn't all the glass in a Hustler flat? If this is the case it's still useful as it can be used as a template for copying..
