Hi All,
First post an all, but I thought I'd ask if anyone has come across this company before www.racing8.co.uk , looks like its going to be a new car,but wondered if they've done anything else in past.
Was looking at going for a Caterham, but this does look interesing ..if its genuine that is.

Sounds and looks like a wind-up to me. Website, moble phone and a landline, no address, some CAD realisations, wonder if they are going to build any actual cars?
How did you get to hear of them? Try to make it convincing, because otherwise some of the more cynical people here will suspect that you are 'connected' with them (I don't, not for a minute, but others might).

To be honest, I can't see them being around for long either when Ariel see what is essentially a carbon copy of their baby being sold for a lot less than they price theirs at.

Ha ,No not me, Spoke to the guy this lunchtime tho.
Seems like a nice enough bloke and answered all my queries, there wont be a car until May though and probably wont be any real photos until March April time. The car was originally going to be a SDV based on a MR2 turbo, and essentially has the dimensions of the MR2 turbo, but has since decided for the car to go complete new build, but I'm not sure if I'l wait around for it, He did say he would register and come onto the board tho.

Just thought I'd post here as I had a call from a member on here and had said there was a discussion on who we were. So to confirm we are real, based in Milton keynes, you can get hold of us on the mobile number which is my contact number or the 0207 number which is a 24 hour reception service.
We're currently in the prototyping stage and should be relasing the car for sale in May, at the moment we're going through homogolation with the MSA, to see if we can get the roll hoop design approved, so the car can be raced, without having to stick on a rollbar as an afterthought.
