Track days

There are some cheap trackdays at the mo because of the time of year and what not.. I was thinking of doing a half dayer for my first just to get a feel for it and give the car a shakedown after winter. How much tracktime/sessions would I expect to get for half a day?

Also any pointers, general tips would be useful. I'd be going to oulton probably. 105 db I think it is there, are there any other rules that could catch me out.. Such as helmet visors, mine is black..do they have to be clear or is that ok?

Tinted visors are fine, wouldn't recommend in overcast weather though. A bit of heavy breathing and a tinted visor = poor visibility.
