Multi car insurance

Does anyone know of any insurers that will insure a banger and a kit on the same policy?

I need a runaround really but I can't afford the insurance as well as keeping the fury. I don't want to sell the fury but if I want to have any kind of life outside my kit car interests I might have to sell it.

Ran a quote through before on a group one cinquecento 899cc and it's fking double what I pay to drive a road legal race car!?!?

Your GTM kind of did both roles quite nicely.

What about another kit as a daily or a classic?

or you could look at a mk1/2 golf or Renault 5 on a classic policy with footman James. You can pick up a mk2 golf for a couple of hundred.

That's the other option. Sell up and buy another libra, but times are hard for a lot of people at the moment and I don't think it's going to be easy getting my money back on the fury, regardless of it's spec and how nice it is.

Do footman James do under 21 classic? I'm 21 in may so I could hang on til then. Thought it was under 25 for some reason.. May be wrong though.

They say a lot of things on their website. Ignore it and give them a call. They gave me a quote, even though on their website it says they don't insure under 25s or 3 wheelers!

There is a new firm in Leamington Spa called Insurance Choice who regularly insure seven kit cars for me for peanuts. Average premium significantly less than £100 per car. These cars include three V8,s.

I am an old fart Accountant with 50 odd years claim free driving which does help but even so this is cheap.

Its no refection on my driving, every other driver has managed to avoid me.

But I have no commercial connection with Insurance Choice at all.

They also insure several oddball cars for various clients of mine including a Gold Plated Bentley for daft cheap money.

I would try them they seem pretty good to me and very helpful.
