I see a black one around my way every now and then, I guess it could belong to the factory being local, do they still make them?

There was an article on Jago in one of the mags late last year. i'll dig out the article when I'm home at the weekend and give you the details if you want. It featured on the front cover so if you go to the mag's website might be able to identify which issue it was in by the cover photo.

There is a very active owners club who 'DO' the shows with some vigour.

Some years ago about 1974 I was using an AJS 350 motorbike on an offroad track near Horndean Hants when suddenly a Jeep appeared and after an agreed nod joined in the fun, I looked round and saw the complete underside of it as the driver jumped the humps behind me! It took three hard laps to lose him!!
We stopped and had a chat and it turned out to be Jeff Jago himself with the prototype using Anglia parts. He then took me round the course as passenger and the memory of leaping 4 wheels right off the ground are still with me.
He certainly could drive his creation.
