RIDE THE MEV CAROUSEL
Discussion
Have a play, it should speed up and slow down and change direction. It makes you dizzy after a while though!

May I ask which browser you are using, it looks correct on the P.Cs I have seen it on. I prosume you can control the speed and direction but it appears to overlap.
Thanks for pointing out a potential issue, regards Stiggy

To clarify...it does not overlap the menu down the side but does overlap the secondary pop-out menues as you scroll down the main menu.

Stop the ride I wanna get off
My laptop's just coming up to a year old, running on W7, firefox (just updated):

chrome (installed a week ago)

OK in IE8 (32-bit, kept getting Adobe error in 64-bit)

I believe qdos' problem may be that if the cursor tracks over the carousel en route to anything else, it maxs out the rotation speed (which borders on nausea inducing). If you move back onto the carousel, you can slow it down and as long as you skirt around it the speed will remain as you left it; bit of a pain though, surely better to reduce max speed?

I felt it was rather exciting going like the clappers!
PITA that some browsers have issues. I have asked Adrian who does our site to see if he can amend it without it being a big job. I have suggested he loses the drop downs and just has a longer list down the side. Will keep you posted, many thanks for bringing this to my attention, regards Stiggy

Some feedback I hope will be taken in the friendly manner it's intended (as a former web tester, I'm a bit too used to shouting at people for stuff I don't like)...
Before spending time on fancy flash stuff, I would focus on getting a consistent general design and information across your website.
While researching kit cars generally (just today picked up a MNR R1 as my first one after months/years thinking about it) I've spent a reasonable bit of time on your website. Certainly like the idea of the Rocket; and if plans ever work out (yea, right) think the Exocet has some very interesting possibilities too. Anyway, looking through your site, I've found similar information portrayed in different manners, or present/not present.
I was going to use Oakleys as an example of a company that justified a Flash site (ie, people interested in flashy stuff generally, rather than power to weight and getting their hands dirty), but even they've moved away from it.
Trying to select a model with my trackpad was very difficult on your site, as it kept spinning too fast and I couldn't easily stop it where I wanted.
When I click 'see more', I'd expect to go to a page with a mix of general information and pictures, rather than a gallery page.
Clicking on the fourth picture of the atomic gallery shows an etrike pic instead.
