wheel bearings stamped china!
Discussion
The problem may not actually be the manufacurer of the bearings.
Firstly were the bearings tightened in to the correct torque? If the were even a little under tightened they will be knackered within a few miles.
Secondly if you're hubs and wheels are running more offset than the bearings were designed to run with then it will put an enormous extra twisting load into the bearings and ruin them pretty quickly.
Do you know what the current kingpin/contact patch offset is for the car?
I wouldn't jump to conclusions and just blame the Chinese.

To me the picture looks to be a hub rather than a bearing. Get to the actual bearing and find the size.
In my last job we were buying bearings from China for the Navy. At over 1.5M in diameter nobody else would/could make them. Very nice they were too.

C4 Corvette Front wheel Hub/Bearing is a one piece unit that just bolts into the Upright. Nice and simple construction that's why I've used C5 units there basicaly the same construction, and only $120 each. You pay more than that just for the GKN front stub axles on a GTR let alone the bearings, spacers, dust covers and the fact you have to machine the upright to very close tolerances to stop the bearings from falling out when the hubs get warmed up. All that cost money and if its good enough for a 1.6 ton corvette then its going to be fine for a 1ton kit car. Aslong as there made right by the manufacturer that is.In my last job we were buying bearings from China for the Navy. At over 1.5M in diameter nobody else would/could make them.
