How long after paying for IVA till you get a test date?

As above, Posted the docs last Monday, phone call from VOSA to pay on Wednesday.... Now how long till I get a test date?

The next comunication will either be further questions about your application or it will be the test centre offering you a date. Time interval is dependant on them being happy with your paperwork. Not normally to much of a delay.

when my car was iva'd by arden it normally took a couple of weeks from paperwork sent to date coming though but have been told it depends on how busy the site you are testing it is!

took about a week for test centre to call then was in the next week ( beverley )

Arden are taking my Minari for IVA on 8 April. (Fingers crossed!)

Took a while for the date to be sorted out because Leighton Buzzard test centre is broken apparently!!!

They've had to rearrange with Hayes, so I guess it delayed things by a couple of weeks.

Its been a week since I paid so rang VOSA, my paperwork is still with the 'technical' department so should make its way to Nottingham this week.... The only problem is that I requested a test date and the longer VOSA have the paperwork the shorter notice it becomes for the test site.

On the plus side I've still got lots to do on the car so I've more time

it must be horrible knowing that the car is up and running and yet stupid paper pushing is stopping you from finally getting it on the road for a spin.

Well it does run but its not finished, got a few days off work(4) planned with a clear 'garage time' pass from the wife to finish it off ready. The only problem is that i've a packed work schedule coming up so if I can't get the date i'm aiming for it might have to wait till june.

you can aask for cancellation dates if someone drops out but obviously you cannot predict these dates!
i see arden had a couple of articles about becoming official iva site themselves-sounds promising!

Birmingham, took a week, my test is 8am tomorrow morning. Not sure if its excitement or fear!

Well good news, got home today to a letter from VOSA. IVA is on the 20th April at Nottingham. 0830.





Been in the garage since working my way through a very long list.......
