What BEC kit car for 10-12k
Discussion
Hello,
I am looking to buy a kit car in about 3 months time. I think I am set on a BEC. What is the best handling car available in my price range? It can be either a 7 type car or a full bodied car. From my limited research it seems that the Fisher Fury stands out at this price point. I will be having the car built here in Poland as labour is about 4 pounds per hour. I also have a question regarding engines, most Fisher Fury's I have seen have a 2003-2004 R1 engine? Is there any reason for this apart from cost. I am asking because I can get a 2008-2009 Blade engine for 1200 pounds here.

TBH I doubt you'll be good enough to tell the handling difference between any of them at that price point. Buy on preferred looks, engine type, build quality / condition.
You'll never get anywhere near the limits on the road whilst remaining safe, and on track, the set-up is so crucial on these cars that a badly set-up westy will handle much worse than a well set-up locost budget build.
