multicar insurance policy
Discussion
When I had my road legal track car the best deal that I got was through Adrian Flux.
Basically they gave me my 5 years NCB on the second car as well because I was the only person insured to drive both of the cars and I could obviously only be drving one car at a time.
Beware though that if they do this they won't allow you to build up NCB on the second car and if you prang the track car/Westfeid you could lose your main NCB as well.
Basically the deal was £700 FC for the Audi S4 and £200 TPFF for the E30 (fully modified), not bad for a 25 year old I thought.
Direct Line weren't far off those prices though and did offer a strong disount for the second car but the extreme modification of the E30 made it difficult.

My kit car is currently insured with Heritage & they have contacted me about also insuring the 'family' cars with them - that is as far as it has got at the moment as the renewals for those aren't until November. However the last point about NCD is an interesting & important one to bear in mind if / when I include the tin tops.
