Westfield Se - Unknown master Cylinder
Discussion
Mates wants his Westfield MOT'ing for the holidays, struggling to fix/replace a leaking master cylinder. He's not an internet type and is struggling to work out what its from, but confusingly so are the factors (who know everything).
Car is a Westfield SE, Narrow, Fibreglass. Probably early 90's? (Q plate).
1700 X-flow, Everything else is pretty standard Ford Stuff, Escort, Cortina I guess.
Brakes dont look to be 'upgraded' in any way.
Existing MC is by Girling. To me - I'd automatically assume its out of an Escort or Cortina. Apparently its not.
What could it be? Are we missing something obvious?

I have a build manual for the Wesrfield SE/SEi from round that date (can't be sure when - no date of publication on it, but it came with my first Westfield narrow-body SE., which was built about 1991/92, IIRC).1700 X-flow, Everything else is pretty standard Ford Stuff, Escort, Cortina I guess.
In the 'guide to component selection' it says: 'The Westfield SE/SEi are equipped to accept the Ford Escort Mk1. pedal box and handbrake... use a dual master cylinder with angled tank (reservoir?), as fitted to the Ford Cortina Mk. III OHV (ie. Kent engine), non-servo.'
Sorry... that's probably not much help if you've checked the parts listings for Cortinas already.
