I have a part finished Renagade beach buggy restoration, it has fully finished chassis and just about all the parts (including 1500 twin port engine and new chrome wheels )exept the windscreen surround. I do not have the time or expertise to finish the job which would include spraying. Can anyone recommend someone who can do this sort of work and does anyone have any experience of this sort of restoration? I am in SW London near Surrey. Any advice or encouragement gratefully accepted.

There are a couple of people in the Kit Car section who might be able to help. Ask a mod to move your thread there.

Ask here www.volkszone.com/VZi

Beach buggies are very very simple and easy to work on.... I would give it a go, very simple mechanics so easy to learn on, and fibreglass isn't too tricky to work with when you get the hang of it.

Anyway, try the above link for some very knowledgeable people... Or if you want a seriously good job done, perhaps try flatlands engineering.... Owner is called Mark, and knows everything about buggies there is to know...

Thanks guys. I would love to do it myself but now have two kids that take all my time. I know flatlands and that they are the best around but they charge appropriately. Thanks again.
