Pictured is std set up.
It truly is a horrible way of mounting the diff. The pic is quite rare in that the front bush is still attached to the bats wing!!!

I borrowed one from Jelly to re-fabricate, when the std item was transposed on the cad machine for lazer cutting it was found to be 14mm out of square.

in the end I decided to go for the alternative mounting arrangement with a 4 lug top mount. Much simpler, much stronger and no need for those horrid metalastic jag do nuts??

Jelly may still have the one we made for you to copy.

Reidy Cast a top mount in LM25 for Geoff's Racng car so you may want to have a natter with him.

I haven't a clue Adrian.

I had just heard that they were Jag derived originally.

If you mean the ones to the right of the photo (held in with two bolts) they are Metalastik parts, with 17/623 moulded into the rubber. This has come up in a prevoius thread: "PistonHeads > Gassing Station > TVR > Classics > M series rear disc brake conversion". Metalastik are now here: http://www.trelleborg.com/en/IndustrialAVS/ They seem to manufacture similar items still but not with the same inner sleeve diameter.

Strangely I have one of these on my desk, if you'd like some dimensions I could oblige.

I have replacements for these on the shelf now...I have the OE part on my desk too! I just got confused over the jag reference as an old Vauxhall part number cross referenced along with a commercial fork lift (now defunct) too. Just need the brackets now!!
