3000m Hand brake cable bracket
Discussion
Any Idea where I can get another one of these as I only have one in my box of parts that I am transfoming into a complete car? Im not even sure they are identical on both sides looking at a diagram I found?
It bolts onto the aluminium rear upright.

Anyone?

Can't help with a replacement but had a look at mine yesterday while changing the wheel bearings and they look the same. One side is fitted "upside down" compared to the other.
Don't look too complex to make a copy with some fairly basic workshop tools ?
On mine the swivel bit the cable goes into is threaded with a lock nut rather than the spring and clip arrangement you have.
As reply above, mine are common both sides - one is the fitted opposite way round.
I have nuts in lieu spring & clip, which I think is a Adrian mod - See previous 'handbrake adjustment' posts.
Unfortunately I do not have a spare - Try the regular experts/suppliers or worst case - you have a pattern to copy.

Hi Pete,
I have these in stock, IMHO you need to get rid of the thackery washers and clevis pin and braze on set bolts to stop the external of the handbrake cable from flexing as you pull the lever (you ALMOST lock them onto the bracket allowing them to rotate within a pair of washers). If you cannot do the brazing then let me know as I should have these as exchange units FOC.
