Anyone out there running a Vixen S2 through to 75 M... that has press button door handles and central locking? A customer would like to get rid of the keys but add the central locking.

Adrian,

For my rebuild of my Vixen S3, I used (square) Granada locks and hardware. They fit neatly with only a tiny bit of adjustment, release with a pull up, (as later M series with Ford handles), and the control box is very simple to understand and wire up. Driver's lock has no solendoid, just the activation switch. I'm pretty sure Ford cortina 4/5 are identical locks. For a remote switch, all you need for this control box is a single pole changover switch.

Hope that helps !

I need to stay with all as is, that said, I think I have it sorted, by converting the drivers door to have the ability to lock on the opening lever (the same as the passenger side) and then I can add the solenoids to the connecting rods.
