Rear earth connections - 1975 M

Taking advantage of the winter 'break' to tidy some of the wiring - I've got as far as identifying the current wiring and amending the wiring diagram. Also ripped out some spare wires and replaced a couple of 'crispy' ones.
All the rear earths go to 6 connections along the tank top and then via 2 earth wires to the front and then to the front chassis strap.
Should they not go to the chassis at the rear. Probably doesn't matter, just seems more logical to go direct to the chassis.

Cross over point is '75.....after that the rear most body shell bracket to the front of the tank has a 2ba bolt welded to it (linked to the tank) externally the shell packers are metal AND a anti-rattle washer is used to gouge into the chassis paint work to allow an earth...I take a separate earth from the 3 way brake connection stud to the inner 2ba and from there to the tank.
