TR6 Diff- Mounting rubbers
Discussion
The rear rubbers on the TR6 diff. It is a one piece rubber unit with a steel cylinder in the middle which the mounting bolt goes through, and a bracket round the middle which bolts to the diff.
Part 60 here
On TVR does this bolt underneath the diff as in this pic? The TVR (david Gerald) parts catolgue it is not clear which way around it goes.
Also, the bolt which does through it. This is just tighted up hard against the steel inner to the rubber? My bolt doesn't even reach all the way through to poke out the nut head. is this right?
The one in the picture does seem to
On my car I replaced these mounts, but the diff seems to move alot up and down on these rubbers- more than I feel it should.
Any advice?
