Help with Vixen history

Can any one help with my Vixen S2 history.

Chassis number: LVX1540/4

Colour: Burgundy.

According to the V5 she was first registered in 1984 but declared manufactured in 1972, Reg Number YOD 22K.

The only piece of history I have is an invoice from Lucas in Jersey for work done in 1977. The car at this time had a Jersey plate J20917, (assuming it’s the same vehicle).

Could she have been first registered in Jersey?

Registered Exeter i'n Devon i'n 1972, obviously exported to and registered i'n Jersey and then reimported to UK i'n 1984
