Hi All,
Finally got round to removing stick on No.Plate and replacing with these.

32/36 DGV Carb fitted,a bit more involved than I first thought,ie manifold change and throttle linkage. The linkage I,ve fitted I later realised belongs on a Pinto(carb on other side of engine)and makes my efforts look a bit crude.
However, I can tidy it up at a later datehehe for now it works perfectly and the car goes like stinkbiggrin
Cheers Neil.thumbup

Many Thanks to All on here for showing me yours, heres my new one biggrin

All ready for Silverstone next weekend biggrin

Now then...scratchchin wellies or waders. Cheers Andy.

I think the front looks great. I approached a number plate supplier at a show recently with regard to buyng the letters/numbers individually but he was very reluctant to sell me any. I have susequently managed to prize the old raised letters of my old rear plate and I think I might just rub them down and repaint and then bond them onto the grill. love the interior light - is it a new part that's still available?

Hi Andy,
After posting a thread last month, general opinion seems to be Lucas LPS173 acquired from ebay.

I will have a dig about in my old 1600 boxes Andy..I may have a spare twin choke manifold and linkages which may work better...I will probably be at Silverstone.

Thats never stopped you talking before.

There were reports on French television of a creature wandering around dark woodlands in the rain for 10 hours. One observer said it was seen close to a steaming object on the ground and wiping its arts on some nettles. The creature thought to be extinct has only previously been sighted in Rochdale and in recent years in the remote hills of Northumberland is beleived to be the longback Neilswitch. People have been advised not to approach it if sighted as it will talk incessantly and follow you around.

Also sighted in France was the equally rare Grumpy Griffin. This was seen frequently in or near watering holes near Samur. It was heard to say "desperados, more desperados". It was later spotted scaling the walls of a nearby chateau. The following day it is reported that a female Griffin, the happy Griffin was seen speeding away from the area with the Grumpy Griffin in the passenger seat of a small Japanese sportscar. Approach carefully carrying beer if sighted, possibly now in Yorkshire.
