Can anyone tell me where the front turn signel lights on a 2500M came from. Need to replace a cracked cover.

If they're same as Taimar I thought they were from a TR6, but just had a look on Moss Triumph website and maybe not, don't look quite the same?

Whatever they are I thought they were a bit opaque and messy so went for all orange (later MGB) with sidelight now in headlamp

Hi Maicoh,

Pretty sure they are Triumph Dolomite indicators:

Hopefully this will work, haven't worked out how to embed piccies yet!

Yes, I looked for some at one time - they are Triumph Dolomite - but I recall they didn't use the same one for all years. I think also Mini Clubman.

Appear on ebay

I think the Lucas number is on the lenses whihc may help a search.

Quick update - did a bit more searching, I think these are the right ones link

Thanks for all the input. They look like the Dolomite and the Mini, maybe they are the same part? But after seeing Mike's MG lens I think thats the way to go. Found them on Moss and just ordered two. Mike what's up with the side marker in the headlight?

If you've ordered the "rubber bumper" MGB lights like I've used the bulb holder takes a single filament 21w bulb (we don't do orange sidelights here in UK smile )

So I changed headlamps for a pair of "Crystal" units and LED sidelights, the yellow dot

Im running led side lights in the headlights and from markers... I keep getting told they're too modern for an old car but i love them :-)

Really need to change my headlights for better bulbs :-/

Yes, bluezeeland, those look correct -- the amber lense is beneath the clear lense that covers the entire assembly.

BTW, I have seen them mounted both ways, even on the few 2500Ms I have owned, but the factory photos show these lights mounted with the amber section on the inside, the white section on the outside, opposite the orientation of the first photo.

Hmm, funny that, jastx, think your actually right, as the pilot light in the headlamp is close to the beams you would expect the 'clear' part to be on the outside (mine, on a 3000S aren't) Still, i'm not gonna loose a lot of sleep over it.....

My handbook shows the side lights on the outside but my 3000S has them on the inside.

Since I bought the car at 1 year old (the car, not me!) the factory had obviously fitted them differently to the manual (or someone had changed them during 1st year - bit why would they do that?).

The thot plickens!
