Hi all,

New here from the Wedge forum!

Is there a list of 3000m/ or 3000S models with rough chassis numbers and registered dates?

Ive purchased a late Taimar and will be restoring it as the chassis is not in a very good state, and was looking for some information on how late a 'W' registered vehicle would be in the production line?

Thanks

Stu

Don't know much about the M,i own an early 2500M though.
If it's W reg i'm guessing it's one of the last built.I'm sure other people in the know will be along shortly

Original Philby book, and still the best book written about the marque, Sucess Against the Odds, has good chassis number information.

I've got all the Filby books - now signed at the pre-80's meet - thank you Peter!

If you let me know the chassis number I'll take a look.

This one was registered on the road, 9/10/1980
It must be a real late one then!?

Late car or late registered? The last cars are almost 'Tasmin' inside...pictures would be good.

Thanks Colin, how did you find that out?

Amazing that it was a year and a day from build start to delivery date!

Why would that be?

I think Ive found the starting problem, the ignition switch is intermittent and not feeding the ignition system correctly, so if I can find one to fit I should have it going soon!
Lucas 30981a is whats on the side if anyones got one for beer tokens, or even just to try to confirm.?

Thanks

If you're in the club and contact Richard Sails he may know more. I'd guess the car was hanging around unsold for a while. The Tasmin was the lastest new thing at the time.
