I am planning to get new rear uprights made for Grantura MKIII/Griffith/Vixen.
They will be milled from the billet and one by one interchangeable with the original ones.
The cost will depend on the number of pieces made. At a minimum of ten made they are about 800 GBP each.
If someone might be interested send me a message.

A few weeks ago I was asking allready for those uprights.
Who offers them for sale?
Can you show a picture?

As I see on the web site are they second hand ones and the others a new casting in a different design.
This is not what I am talking about.

I need new ones in the original design. They should look like the old TVR uprights, and all parts of the original upright should fit without modification.

Klaus not really sure I understand. You have been around the classic TVR scene long enough to know who can already supply parts without reinventing the wheel. I CAN SUPPLY TVR FACTORY PATTERN REAR UPRIGHTS in addition to others mentioned. Sorry Adrian if that advertising, just following your example.

I think he means with Steve's website , when you click on the link in his profile you get page not found error or something similar.

I took it down, it was beginning to feed off me rather than me off it.

It was out of date and I am a car person rather than an IT person and despite lots of people threatening to help me with it none of them ever materialised. I used to get 100,s of emails some days asking for photos, prices for lists and lists of parts and nothing ever came of them. I used to be replying to emails for hours, then several weeks later the same people would email saying they had bought some parts off the internet for 2p less than I had quoted but the didn,t fit, could I help.
85% of my phone calls started with "I wonder if you can help me" which translates as " I want to pick your brains but I dont want to spend any money". I even had Lili doing the doctors receptionist act but people were just rude to her (she probably knows more about TVR,s than most).

You only have to read some of the threads on here.

The last straw was the type of people who would phone almost daily for advice but never wanted to buy anything but would then phone and say I have tried everyone else, trawled the internet for weeks and now you are my last resort, I REALLY dont want you spend any money with you but can you help me . Insult me but try to be a bit more subtle.

I think a website should be up to date, easy to change without being a computer programmer and informative. Till I have the ability to be able to control that myself I will do without.

Sorry.
