A set from a 1961 Facel Vega HK500 can be made to fit as well, if you are handy with a soldering iron.

Wiper arms Trico

Hella adjustable ones cut to size will function ok.

Halfords HWA3 wiper arms which are adjustable from 10-13.5&quote

Wiper blades Rainbow/Trico

get the sort with metal strips inserted.

Hella 12 inch ones. Hella part number 9XW 857 506-001

Halfords HB13 wiper blades which are

13" ones which seem to work well. Unfortunately they

are not very period !

Him - this is not really helping, me actually get the arms and blades.

Must be an off the shelf part for both?!

There you go, never trust a TVR Specialist. For those of you who didn,t know Colin was CEO of Sovereign Sportscar and friend to TVR Royalty.
He used to sell these to me at a ridiculous price. He told me they were brazed, I could never understand how you could braze rubber but now his secret is out. Of course you can solder rubber with special flux.

Do you ever see MT, how is he?

MT moved to Oxfordshire many moons ago (he was wanted by the Essex constabulary for mooning); I last saw him in Cambridge about 6 years ago.

I never said that they fitted perfectly, just that thats what I had on my car biggrin

jelly do you need 2 wipers?? My car uses a rear wiper motor from a suitable donor car and is fixed directly under the R/H spindle position, The arc is only 65 degrees or so but it sweeps the screen, doubtless you could find a rear wiper motor to do the same job that will sweep over a larger arc...Direct acting, fixed at point of use, no horrible linkages and a usefull weight saving along with simplicity!!

fixing method was as simple as aralditing 2 fixing blocks of suitably shaped wood to the bulkhead

How can someone put that together and get stumped by a wiper arm smile

I've know idea but would have thought a trip to any of the MG - Triumph - Mini type specialists would find a match, presumably just standard Lucas wheel box's ?

Maybe one of the resident comedians on here could give you some measurements to help?

You could always just ring Steve Reid who can send you the correct parts for some beer tokens which will match the curvature of the screen.
