Clearly a V8, and sounds good......but not the plug layout of the later 4 litre RV8 of the Chimaera. So for ignorant pillocks like me, what is it please?

Its bloody trick.

Feel like a total beast (but very well manored).

Not driveable under own steam yet. Needs brakes and clutch bled.

Lots more to do, but starting to see the light at the end....

I know the feeling jelly. You think its done but their are still loads of jobs that are small but still add up to hours and hours. Write them all down then hit one at a time.....Its looking good. Going to start pulling the engine out of mine at the weekend if the weather ever improves enough here to be able to pull the car out for a couple of hours to clean the garage...Feels like a hurricane blowing outside.

Jelly,
Just wondering why you would fit the MSD box in the engine bay...and with the leads facing up for water to enter? The motor sounds swell!!

Most racers I've come across have the MSD in a similar place.

Bonnet will cover it and mine has a further cross brace right above the MSD.

Eric - how is yours coming along? Worth popping over(?), if you need a hand with anything?

Im around all day today and most likely tomorrow in the garage so your most welcome to pop round, you will actually see some progress if you do.

Cheers Richard.

Pointless setting targets but, on the road by end of April hopefully achievable ((Fully fitted out)to work the easy bugs out of it) which should leave time for a track session to dial it in. MG Fest would be good first race.

150 miles yesterday and today. No obvious issues.

Just sorting out the little things now.
