Hello,


Can anybody help me with the recommended spring rate for a 3000 S or M.
I'am also after some info to put in a 5 speed box.Which box do I have to use.

Hi Hans,

You could use the same 5-Speed box as you used in your Griff, a B-W T5.

As for anybody recommending springs, you might want to state what you plan to use the car for.

I recommend a good rate of no more than £40 each.

Here's what I have on mine, it may be of some use?

REAR 10 ½” – 190lb
FRONT 10” – 225lb

I ran same spring rates on our S Turbo and for road use it's not compromised withour rear ARB smile

Rolls a bit on track though LOL.

I suspect that, compared to your racer (which must feel like a brick), everything else wallows.

It actually feels quite nice B, but then it's never having to fight with holes and ruts in the road smile
