buy the book !
Well it does get a section in Peter Filbys latest book and yes there is relavance to TVR and if history had been different we might have seen our TVRs looking like this and maybe the 3000s would have never been built and the Tina convertable i think would have been the car built but sorry either its my eye sight or taste but its not really that easy on the eye but as a part of motoring history it is important and great that others see the beauty and keep them alive.I gave up
buy the book !

Jeez, guys, co'on, going on your comments we should cast aside the likes of Elva', Tina, Jack Griffith and so a fair part of the TVR history ! The german club are airing this under their section 'friends of the family' which to all intents and purposes is exactly that.........
You might not like the idea, you might not even like the appearance of the car(s) but I'm sure there are people who do like it, and I was as such, and merely, posting this as a heads up for just that people !
(returning to the shelter now(also known as my work-shop))
btw; heightswitch is going for the 'most censored' poster this year ? (lol)

Hmmm into the Dragon's Den it would seem but here goes.
If that had been properly executed as intended I think it would have been a great TVR. As it is it was nicked and ended up a shadow of what could have been. If it had been a TVR I think it would have been well regarded classic as it is the Trident is a TVR related car but shouldn't be confused with the few that were actually built.
Not sure the Tina was ever a good idea. I learnt to drive in an imp and drove my Mums further than see ever did and the level of oversteer makes a TVRs handling look smooth and progressive
Nice looking for the era but wouldn't have sold imo.
Just my 2c
