The only thing that is letting the interior down on my 3000M at the moment is the sun visors. As you can see from the following pictures they (especially the passenger one) are a bit floppy and I would like to know what car they were originally from or what ones are fitted to yours, or how I can fix my current ones. Please provide pictures.

Many thanks smile

They look better than ours, we haven't got any!

Be interested to see some suggestions, from last time I looked it was pretty much an Adrian@ (other specialists available) or DIY.

Mine are that floppy that I took them both out. I now have two pair of sunglasses under the stereo.

these are mine (Vixen S1). I rather thought that since they are non matching, they probably weren't the original ones. It would be good to know for (much)later. Any insight gratefully received smile

THe top one really does look like the one in Adrian's post. What was the origen of that one?

Did some work on the drivers visor on my 79 Taimar last year after the visor fell off into my lap!
The mounting bolt had sheared.
Have you tried freeing off the spring - see Henry & Astacus photos, mine was very rusted up.
For the record my mounting arm & triangular shaped mounting bracket are both "chromed".

What a 'Exactly-tvr' exchange sun visor looks like ...also comes in black and any other colour/shape/cloth or leather version that fits a TVR in that it is a copy of your old unit ...
Adrian@
Adrian- Can you supply me with a pair of these in black? Are you willing to post them to the USA?

Best place to see pictures of my car is in the vixen registry under the Vixen2500 listing. It's the 4th from the top. Vin # 1878T car was purchased by original owner in the UK. I am the 3rd owner and have done a frame off restoration on the car. Link is here: http://tvr.at/vixen2500-33.html

I have the original license plates from when the car was registered in the UK. I put the front plate on for car shows.

I have kept the car as original with the exception of a Toyota 5 speed transmission conversion and currently I have a set of Wolfrace wheels on the car.
