I just spotted this 3000M for sale in Belgium, which clearly needs some work, but it's going pretty cheap if anyone's interested : http://hooniverse.com/2013/02/03/weekend-edition-1...

(BTW I have absolutely no link with the seller)

It was Ebay'd a few weeks ago in the Midlands, it got 5 bids up to £2400, but didn't reach Reserve.

I remember it because it has a fibreglass fairing under the spare wheel for the fan? I'd never seen that before.

I've bought plenty in France, but never in Belgium. If the seller speaks English obviously that's no problem. If he speaks French, I can help. If he speaks Flemish, then you'll have to find someone else.

I would imagine that he hasn't yet sent any paperwork to the DVLA, so that should be ok. Otherwise it's just a case of going over there with a sheaf of euros and a trailer...

Buying from Belgium this early on will be simple. It won't be registered there yet.

I can't see language being a problem if he is a Wallonie and speaks Flemish, they generally speak English as well

Luc, welcome to the forum. Nice 3000S. Reminds me of the black/tan one John Wadman stood up on its tailpipes at the Toronto Auto Show.

Best,
B.
