Well after missing out on the Red one Chris52 bought.........I have managed to lay my hands on my own project.

A big thanks to pridaux for his advice as well.

Let the project commence..........deposit paid and collect it next week :-)

It is a August 1978 registered car, 'LFR 914T'. Supplied new by Hargreaves and Bailey who were the dealers in Blackpool. It had a crunch to the front end which badly damaged the bonnet. Since then it has had a replacement bonnet, bonnet loom, new headlamps, and the seats have been refurbished. It is currently all white although was originally white with a brown model band.

If anyone knows the car drop me a note, always nice to learn about a new purchase

If the system was behaving i'd post some pics....grrr

Congratulations!

To post pictures without trouble:
go to the Thumbsnap BASIC web page, http://thumbsnap.com/?go=basic
click the button for the live page (may not always need to),
post a picture,
right click the image, and copy image url.

Back on your PH post,
type [pic] then right click, and paste the image url, then type [/pic]

Should be all you need, and remember, we're waiting.

Best,
B.

Congradulations Glen
Looking like you will be a busy boy for a while not sure about the new seats think you may be tempted to get rid of that cord you cant clean it and never know what has been there before you LOL.
Great to see there are cars being brought back out to play.
Still need someone with more time available than Bluezealand has at present to get that early 3000m back into play a great early car.
Happy smash
Andrew

Welcome to the white TVR Taimar Club. I even have the same 2 stickers on the rear window. It's interesting to note the dashboard differences between your car and mine ('77).

Nice car. Looks like a detail, and then start driving. That way you'll know its foibles soon enough. Enjoy the coming season with it.

Best,
B.

going to see if i can get her running first then see whats what.

the front loom looks unconnected and the lights are not attached but i have a new loom in the car ready to go.

So battery is on charge, will re attach the rad hoses then try my luck........may end up in a ball of smoke but thats half the fun in finding out lol
