AVO shock sertings

I've just fitted the front and rear AVO shocks and springs to my Taimar, can anyone recommend a good starting point with the settings?

I've got Spax', which have 32 settings for 'bounce' had them initially on '18' but now back to '15', which is fine (handling/comfort)

I am in the market for new shocks and springs, currently fitted with spax but the car stood for so long the springs are bowed and fowling the shocks. Do you have a link to the AVO kit you have purchased? and if you find a good setting can you please let me know!

I used Adrian@ to supply them, the rear shocks are an inch shorter than standard but thel shocks were leaking and NEEDED to be replaced

I had my original 'monroe'collets re-machined, which works fine, thank you..........

in general, 40-ish % of the maximum ? AVO/Spax/whatever ?

I generally set them to 7-8 all round, for road use and 15-16 for the odd track day, where you have good surfaces.
Spax using Spax alloy collets clash with the chassis under compression and cause the springs to bend and rub the side of the shock.
