Caterham Factory Visit
Discussion
Great Day today as our SE Kent TVRCC Club visited the Caterham Factory well worth a visit if you ever get a chance to go nice to see some cars still being made here in the UK just a few photos of the day sadly only my 3000s being the only pre 80s car there but was joined by my good friend who has a MK1 Vixen.
Main Factory

Kit nearly ready for dispatch

There latest Track car based on the old Lola

meeting up at the M2 Services sadly modern TVR owners are softies as we where the only ones with the hood down all day apart from when parked up great to get out and blow some winter cobwebs away

Beauty and the Beast you decide which one is which? the oldest and the newest cars there.

Great Day was had by all
A big Thank you to our great TVRCC/RO Graham for organising this

It looks like a very interesting trip, as you say, nice to see cars still being hand made in the UK.
Might your good friend have any pics?
I am struggling to get any details of original(ish) Vixen Series ones engine bays and other details, to help with my rebuild. Most of the series ones around are either too far away to get to or dismantled or have engine bay transplants. Ive not seen one at the Pre 80s meets for the last 3 years so I am a bit stuck for reference material!
