3000M/2500M? Rear body for sale.........

Can anyone tell me if this is the rear body from a 3000M or a 2500M, is there any difference or are they the same? I only have the part from the rear of the door backwards and am looking to sell it, maybe of some use for a rear ended car or a racer who wants a spare back end `just in case!` The rear screen is in very good condition but is an unheated one.......Martin

Yes, looks like the back end of a pre 1976 M Series, as far as I know the shell was the same for the 1600M, 2500M and 3000M. I can't tell totally from the shape of the rear light apertures, but think it is from a very early (1972/3) car with the Cortina 2 lamps. Must be useful to someone, certainly shouldn't be thrown away.

Rear window has the greatest value not cheap to replace so take care of that the rest I don't see as a great value but in todays TVR world who knows if there is a V5 with it then there is more value

No V5 with it as it has been added to another front body section to make a special, there are a pair of dusty seats with it but i don`t think they are TVR items........Martin

Thanks guys, a forum member has just picked up the rear screen which will help me with some finance towards my project. The rear shell will be going on evil bay in the next few days unless anyone here wants to make an offer ( it will be going cheap) Hopefully it will help someone out.

Sorry I can't offer to take the rear section, I'm struggling for space with the bits I already have!

I just wondered, did you, by any chance, have anyone looking for a rear screen after you sold yours?

I'm building a hillclimb M series and have a tinted, heated rear screen that I'm looking to sell or swap for a perspex one, any leads would be appreciated.
