Grantura inspires 'Herbie' Livery?

I have just had this picture pop up on face book from the TVR Classics page.



With the caption '12 hours of Sebring 23.3.1963'

Unless I am missing something it is wearing Herbie livery



Which first appeared in 1969.

What am I missing here?
