Well at last some proper weather to get out and enjoy the cars had a great Club meet today as some of the north kent group came down to try our great food and share our monthly meet.
Great to see everyone and especially to finally meet Phil ATE399J and his great Tuscan V6 a car that may show the sign of use but wow sounds and runs fantastic makes me realise how much I have to learn less time polishing and more time learning how things work and how to make them work even better don't alter a thing Phil its fantastic.
A real pleasure to meet you at last.

Hi Phil no i do mean used i learnt my lesson last year when all polished and shinny i went to the Faversham Car show and what pulled up beside me was what at first i thaught a really tatty car until i realised i was parked beside a member of Motoring Royalty a real AC Ace in talking with the owner who had owned her from 4 years old and when he bought her she was just a nice second hand car as he could not afford a new one in all those years he has used enjoyed maintained the car but never re sprayed her just maintained it and when it last saw polish who knows and lots of cracks etc in the paint and the stuffing coming out of the seat etc.
But by the end of the show after looking at her time and time again i realised that for him it would be all wrong to do anything other than what he has been doing every scratch knock and bit of flaking paint told the story and history of that car and it was beautiful in a way that cant be reproduced or faked.
There is a big difference between neglect and well used.
