Grantura race engine and gearbox builders
Discussion
Hi all,
I ws chatting to sTeVe R last week about trying to get spare engines and gearboxes for our Grantura and he metioned Chris Connolly ( or perhapps O Connell).
Does anyone have any contact info or this chap please and also Id like to hear about other recomended people to go to to discuss engines and boxes for Granturas as I dont wish to disturb Steve again.
Thanks

Gearboxes Hardys in Leatherhead. Bill or Neil. There are still no decent 3 sync SCCR gearsets as far as I'm aware so you either have to go helical or use 4 sync. I have an original JKD 3 sync SCCR but they're like rocking horse stuff.
Engines - there are loads. Chris does a good expensive engine. Front runners in BCV8 are generally either Luff or McCarthy engines. Slaphead does them for Sean, Rob etc and Hewitts for Ashworth. Paul at Classic and Modern does them for lots of racers. I build my own
