DVLA. Has no details on that registration plate for a TVR.
Is that a Daimler V8?
Poor little bugger
looks like a Daimler V8,probably an unfinished project by the looks of itIs that a Daimler V8?

Incidentally I have a 1965, 1 owner from new ( so good provenance and I,ve known him for over 40+ years) 1800S which was factory fitted with a Daimler SP250 engine and some appropriate upgrades. Very desirable engine in good running order worth almost £10K. Maybe thats where the bidders are coming from?
Chassis looks like a second hand market stall but worth more than high bid for door window frames.

There was bids but the seller cancelled them and removed it from auction.
I suspect he read this thread and realised the engine was worth a fair bit of money. I hope we see the remains of the car rescued some how, bur judging by whats actually left, I doubt it. Although if it has the chassis plate, some one mad enough could resurrect it.thegamekeeper said:

Quote from Martin Davies' article on p.24, TVR Sprint magazine (August 1975):
"My first TVR was a Mk2A Grantura which I am afraid to say I ran into the ground, and a large wooden post at 60 mph, thus demolishing the read end. (I was spinning off the road at the time, not reversing up the drive.) Does anyone know what became of said vehicle, the reg. no was 1658 MM, and when I sold it it had a rather untidy aluminium bum."
