BUT then it would be yellow, assuming that this yellow body shell I have here fits...I would need to ask an expert in the field (would that be the same farmer, sorry, expert in the field that Steve was going on about), if a late '76 shell would fit on a early '76 chassis, questions ...questions.

yup, DVLA say its been off the road since the mid 90's............don't know what the story is so have emailed to ask.......will share what they say

response = I WILL GET SOME PICS ON EBAY OVER THE NEXT FEW WEEKS WHEN IT GOES UP FOR SALE. ITS NOT A SALVAGE CAR I BOUGHT IT AS A NONE RUNNER ITS GOT ALL PAPER WORK AND SOME RECIEPTS AND HIST , ITS A VERY SOLID CAR THAT JUST NEEDS A GOOD CLEAN UP AND WOULD BE VERY USABLE
