Lovely S1 for sale. It's the most expensive Vixen asking price I've seen but surprisingly offers virtually no info on car, condition or history. confused

Hmmm, seems to be a bit of a punt on someone needing a nice pre-66 motor for the revival.

"outstanding british sports car finished in Aston Martin Silver has dateless plate so will qualify for pre-66 car park at the Revival.Serious enquiries only via email please."

I do hope he didn,t buy the "dateless" plate specically for Revival, its been pre 73 for a number of years now so obviously not a regular.

The pre '73 car park at Goodwood is the best free classic car show of the year. You dont need to pay to park at Goodwood so just turn up (after the queues have died down), park up, wander across to the pre '73s and spend as long as you like wandering around. Some fantastic cars and the air display is thrown in for good measure.

WARNING
This car is owned by my friend here in kent and the pictures used are the same pictures used when he purchased the car last year it is not for sale again I have just called him to alert him as he is not on piston heads I said I would reply.
As we all know Goodwood is not in Kent the original advert was in Kent sounds like a scammer evil having a punt with Goodwood coming up.
Role on Goodwood and at least one little Vixen S2 will be attending

Interesting. How does the scam work then. Phone up, BACS the money then turn up at a none-existent address? Doesn't seem likely that someone would do that. Or do they line up a buyer and then nick the car? In the 90's someone tried (but failed) to nick my Chimaera off the drive in the middle of the night. The police told me that it would be a "nick to order" and as they'd presumably been disturbed would certainly be back for it in a day / week / month. They told me that if I wanted to keep the car I'd have to find somewhere else to keep it for the next 3 months. It's all quite worrying really. Andrew, I'd get you mate to take advice.

Hi Stephen
I don't really know however I think they rely on international byers who may not view the car apart from pictures then agree a massive discount if the byer proceeds fast and sends a deposit at that stage they are quids in and they have a deposit close the account and bingo the sting is complete most of us would not purchase a car without viewing but there is always one that will.
