Just purchased this Series 1 Vixen which has been in a barn for the last 15 years along with 4 Triumph Spitfires - so bought job lot. Going to restore back to it's former glory so will keep you posted.
Also good to meet MOTO yesterday and see his Vixen.

Hi Martin / Samantha / Ryan
Good to meet you yesterday and see your S1. Still laughing at the helmet coming through the side window intro.
Let me know how progress goes or if you need any info. Although you'll find the guys on here to be very helpful and knowledgable. It's great to have another Vixen in Herefordshire - not too many in this part of the world.

Nice to see another S1 rescued. There have been quite a few early Vixens come out of the woodwork in the last few years.
It would be nice to see some more pictures, particularly of the engine bay.
Also, perhaps you could help me out with a question I have been trying to get to the bottom of for a while re s1 engines? - what casting number does your engine have? Is it a 681, 691 or maybe a 2737?

I've seen this car before. New year's eve 1987 l think, my (now) wife and l went to Tewksbury or one of those towns that was always in 'it's a knockout' and we came across two guys poster painting a Vixen, this Vixen (unless there's another with those rear lights). I had the Tuscan even then so stopped to talk to them, they were in the process of having the car painted and l think it was in undercoat hence the"decorating" with poster paint for the new year.
