Anyone at Snetterton this W/E?

Well, a very wet mornings practice. It looked very hard to get the power down well and the cars were driven very cautiously.
2 classic TVRs, a Red Griff 400

and adark grey blue Grantura III

In afternoon racing in clearer conditions the 400 lead from the start battling constantly with a yellow Lotus Elan, losing it on the straight only to find it back up his tail pipes on the bends for the whole race. On the penultimate lap the Griff disappeared and had apparently gone off, the Elan won.
Unfortunately for the Granny, it too disappeared early on and we never found out why. I was going to go for another poke about the pits to find out, but the skys opened again so we left.
The dry parts were great. Some really good back and forth tussles. I'll post up some more pics if I can, unfortunately I had some camera problems early on so missed most.
Thanks to Tim for the extra photos, I couldn't get mine off the card in the end

I was there but unfortunately not driving my Grantura as the engine is out for rebuild after becoming terminally tired at the Spa Summer Classic. I was however, sole mechanic/pit crew for Jon's Ford Falcon that finished third in this race. Had the Griff gone off a lap earlier we would have clinched second. The dark grey Grantura (actually it's blue) of Robi Bernberg was in our garage. I didn't manage to find out why it retired as they had left by the time I got off the pit wall. Robi pitted after only about 10 mins and his crew were peering under the bonnet but from the pit wall I couldn't determine what the issue was.
