If I was TVR'less right now I think I might be increasing my paypal limit. That car has had an awful lot of work done to it and it looks to be to a good standard. I know it can be difficult to track down certain missing parts but given how much has already been done to the car and future resale values for a rebuild car - tempting.

With road cars up for £35k, it makes my partially restored, original 1800cc UK registered MkIII 'FIA race car to be' look good value at £20k.

Not really surprising given the inflation of most 60s classics over the last 5+ years. My LWE increased over £100k in 3 years.....unfortunately only part of that with me :-)

The ad states that it is "the same type of car." They mean that rare kind, the one with a power source, and wheels.

Best,
B.

A time machine still needed no TVRs where around then unless they mean a car with 4 wheels and an engine that you sit in I presume its a typo as I make my own fair share of them but still makes the advert loose credibility

Auction ended early eh! Guess we'll never know how much was offered. Nice car though, looking forward to seeing it finished.

It says This listing was ended by the seller because the item is no longer available.

So Im guessing they either sold it privately or didnt like the way the auction was going so ended it. My guess would be someone gave them the 10K they was advertising it for on their site.

Someone made a wise decision and offered the 10k as it was well worth every penny with basket cases at 7 to 8 k
Finished she is 25k plus so do the maths
I hope it was bought by someone who really wants one but cant afford the 25k that way it will be cherished and not just finished and sold on.
The parts needed where brake lines radiator alternator carb starter motor wiring front and rear screens all hoses plus re trim most of the rest was there or done i would say 5k to 6k should finish her
Well done to however bought her
