My Mum had a Mk1 Escort in that colour...we called her "Daffy" lol

Not an original colour but BL Golden Yellow is a lovely Hue.
Again if you are not too worried about originality I would go for a Ral or BS4800 yellow and that way you can also get things powder coated, aerosols etc mixed.

safety Yellow is also another nice hue.

Mixing Formula


The paint is Luftonsa Yellow
PPG number 82284 there was 14 Quarts used to get this level of finish looks fantastic

BS08 E51

One of the richest, nicest yellows ever. I did a fiesta in this colour once upon a time, Often called golden yellow, sometimes saffron. and a BS 4800 colour.

Luftonsa Yellow is the bright yellow....maybe Andrew will post a picture of it with the paint?

They are my arches. Only the rear of this TVR had them. From the side, the car appears to have a stock body.

if its the same colour as my tuscan then its a 70s renault colour1

This is also Lufthansa Yellow as well but with 16 Quarts applied
The Darker one was 14 Quarts
