£120 ea for unobtanium seems pretty good value to me.
how much were the last wheels you bought for your Brown Porch Targa Andrew?

£1800 with centre caps etc however they where fully restored to as new condition as the reproduction wheels available are good but not great and same with the wheel nuts.
However I am delivering a nice set of Fins to another PH Tuscan V6 owner Friday and I have charged a fair price in order to make that car as Original as possible.
Yes I could have put on E Bay/Piston head Classified and let the market/demand dictate the price/Value however I wanted to see them on the right car.
And how much did you pay for your none OE wheels on your Mk1 Vixen on Steroids wink
Plus minus on your maths homework its £125 when I was at school

He offered me a £20 discount !
I have a sets of 5 but wouldn't sell, you never know one day I may wish to replace the Period racing wheels with something thinner.

I think my Minilites were about £125 each brand new Andrew!

Even adding £50 per wheel to turn true and re-furb makes £175 ea, Hardly excessive when considering there were probably less than 1000 sets made in total? and probably the first production car to be offered alloys as an option, doubtless there will be some italian exotica somewhere to prove me wrong...Alloys didn't really surface until the 70's

They tend to be a little ductile, hope you span them up before you re-furbed them?

N.

Maybe you should buy them in case you have another car that needs them.
I considered keeping them however the chances that someone would take the wires off the Tuscan was slim and as they where better than my Vixen wheels so I switched the sets and found a good home for the ones off the Vixen.
They are all running well when we tested them.
If I ever need another set I have access to a set if needed.

Your wheels look great though on your copy of Arnfrieds Car well done wink.

Wrong shape for a copy Andrew!
I do have another car; Another short one to build, I think That one will be a replica of mine before I made it a replica of something else.. Then their is the wide body but that won't be for many years yet due to funds available. It can slumber for now.

A wide body...what is the chassis number, or will that one be a replica of someone else's also?
Cheers,

I am sure they will make someone happy Hans put them on the Classified section here and it will help offset some of the cost of the wires Nice Choice it will be cool to see them on your car.
I don't think the seller is that far off the value for usable ones rather than those ones that need a lot of work
