Are prices of classic TVRs suddenly tied to bitcoin?

I think Richard is right prices overall have risen and just look at prices of Lotus etc of around the same time and TVRs are still Very good value on the Smiles to the pound.Yes they are way beyond 10 years ago and some of the cars you have highlighted may be a bit overpriced but not by much IMOP.
To get a top restored mint Vixen under 25k I think is going to be rare as you cant rebuild one for that if you take the time/labour into account most restorations are 300 to 600 hours work do the maths.

A good example of prices there is a 2500m on USA E bay 8 hours to go nice however not original in many ways and now at 25600 of there beer tokens and even at that price reserve not met and Haynes at Wire Wheels has recently sold a Griffith 200 road car at nearly 100 000 of there beer tokens.
The Prices are strong and seems that my Eagle Jaguar theory of well done upgrades that are in keeping with the car and done well are having a positive effect not a negative effect on prices.
Yes there are the collectors out there that want OE and that's great but there seems to be a growing number of Classic owners that want the Classic car but slightly more usable and practical for modern use and roads
